Terms of Service

The Vow (https://www.thevow.life) lets you create digital wedding invitations, share private links with guests, and track RSVPs. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials private. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 to create an account.

Everything you put into an invitation — names, photos, messages, guest lists — remains yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store it and display it to the guests you share it with.

You confirm that you have your guests’ permission to add their contact details, and that emails sent through The Vow relate only to your event. Using the platform to send unsolicited bulk email (“spam”) is prohibited and will lead to suspension.

You agree not to:

• upload unlawful, hateful or infringing content;
• attempt to access other users’ events or guest data;
• probe, overload or disrupt the service;
• resell the service without our written consent.

We work hard to keep The Vow fast and available, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We will not intentionally remove your data without notice except where required for abuse or legal reasons.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Vow shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including missed RSVPs, undelivered emails, or event outcomes — arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently the service is free, so this may be zero).

You may stop using The Vow and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Sections 3, 6 and 8 survive termination.
